Coach Gareth Hiscock said he was happy and confident in this year’s line up.
“This will be without doubt the strongest side that we have been able to field for the past three or four years of competition,” he said.
“Our training is in full swing.
“We are looking to put up our strongest side and we are looking forward to start.”
Hiscock said he believed the team’s success had generated interest.
“It will be a solid pre-season as there was no local competition for the ladies,” he said.
“They won’t have touched the ball for six months since the grand final, but that is what it is all about!”
The season will start on October 8.

- Forward Sophie Alexander who played for Ballarat Rush in the South East Australian Basketball League will join the side.
- Jess Canane who represented in Vic Country as a junior.
- Gabby O’Brien who has also represented in a state side.
- Jessie Elder who is new to the area.
- Caitlin Story is back after a year off due to injury.
- Cayley Atkinson who formerly played for Ballarat.
OUT
- Lady Hornet Maddie Iredell will not play this season.
