Nhill Camera Club scored 666 points to finish in second.
Stawell hosted the 2016 competition awards day at the Stawell Senior Citizens’ Centre on Sunday.
Almost 40 photographers from the Nhill, Horsham and Stawell club attended the event.
The photographers were able to see the display of color and monochrome prints from competition, which opened on Sunday, while the announcements of the results were also made.
Judges Jim Weatherill and Marg Huxtable from Melbourne joined them for a morning tea before they moved to the Stawell Skate Park at North Park to test their photography skills.
Young skater BJ Holden was in action on his BMX while Gabe Tonkin took to his scooter for the shoot.
Stawell Cannon Digital Photography and Film’s Peter Cannon shared some hints to help the photographers set their cameras for action photography and capture some great images of Holden in the air above the ramps.
The photographers found it very challenging adapt to his skill and daring while they attempted to keep him inside the frame of the photo.
At the end of the morning session Peter Cannon photographed BJ and Gabe with the group of Wimmera photographers.

They passed on hints to help all the camera club members create better images.
