Molly, which is owned by the McDonald family, won the competition for the second year in a row.
Owner Julie McDonald said Molly jumped 2.28 metres, which was lower than her winning jump last year of 2.6 metres.
“She was a bit distracted by one of the other dogs this year and just kept chasing after him,” she said.
“She got to the two metre point but then the last two or three jumps she wasn’t as interested.”
Mrs McDonald said training Molly for the competition was difficult.
“Hay is the best thing to use but there isn’t much of that around this year,” she said.
“So we just practiced jumping up onto the ute.”
The family won some vouchers in the competition.
Mrs McDonald said she hoped there would be more entries in the competition next year.
“It’s a wonderful event and really well organised, it was just a shame there was only a few entries,” she said.
“Anyone who has a dog should think about entering.”
