School principal Karen Booker estimated that about 400 people attended each performance on Sunday at Horsham Town Hall, which saw 180 students show off what they have learned.
She said the bigger venue had the dancers full of energy for their performances around the concert’s theme ‘The Dolls’ House’.
“They started rehearsing in term two so they’ve been practicing and learning new dances for the concert,” Mr Booker said.
“It’s a chance to share with family and friends what they have learned.
“It was the first time performing in the new town hall. It was great and the dancers loved it.”
Mrs Booker said the bigger stage gave the dancers more room to move around.
“I think they all found it really easy to go from classroom to stage,” she said.
“They were all very excited to show off what they had been learning and their costumes.
“Every comment I have revived has been positive. The parents loved the opportunity to have their kids dance in such a venue, the audience loved it.”
Mr Booker said she would like to thank all the parents, friends and family who supported the show.
“Without them, I couldn’t run the concert,” she said.
