The Horsham Church of Christ event involved children’s activities, a fashion parade and plant sales.
The two-day event was at Maree and Graham Goods’ garden at Wail.
Mrs Goods the day was like a carnival.
“There were so many things to do,” she said.
“We had a gentleman cook bread in a camp oven.
“We had a craft stall, a fashion parade on the verandah, children’s activities and face painting.
“The Dunmunkle Sump Oilers brought some old engines and we had cars from the 1950s and 1960s.
Mrs Goods said overall it was a great family day.
“We had 389 people come through the gate,” she said.
Mrs Goods said it was the first time there had been an event of that size at the garden.
“We have opened the garden to the public in the past and it’s been about 12 years since we were permanently open,” she said.
“Horsham Church of Christ will look to have another event next year at a different garden. Overall the day went really well.
“We had lovely weather and everybody seemed to enjoy themselves.”
Mrs Goods said the weekend also included plant sales and food stalls, which were popular.
