Highway patrol acting Senior Sergeant Heath Martin told a police community forum in Horsham that police service area fatalities had decreased this year. The area covers Horsham, Hindmarsh and West Wimmera municipalities.
He said there had been three fatalities in 2016, compared to six at this point last year. He said serious injury crashes were also down.
