The side sent the Nhill One side tumbling out of contention when it won 16-100 to 2-84 on the greens of Horsham City Bowls Club.
Nhill’s side finished the regular season on top of the ladder with only two losses on its record but have floundered in finals this season with losses to Horsham City in the semi-final and now Dimboola.
Dimboola’s combinations controlled the first three sets of the day before dropping the final set.
A 15-shot win in the second set established Dimboola in a strong position and the side did not look back as it defended its lead strongly through the remaining two sets.
In division two it will be a Horsham City Derby in the grand final after the club’s number three side won through to the final match by defeating Sunnyside.
It was a comprehensive win for Horsham City Three as it claimed all three sets on the Coughlin Park greens.
Horsham City were only one shot better in the first set but opened up a wider margin throughout the rest of the day’s play to win the match-up.
Just like Dimboola in division one, Horsham City three won its way through to the grand final after finishing the regular season in fourth.
Sunnyside fared no better in division three where its fourth side fell short against Nhill in a tight contest. Just nine shots separated the sides at the end of the the day but Nhill’s wins in the first two sets was enough for it to progress. It will play Kaniva in the grand final at Goroke.
