The mural at the back of Lillies and Latte’s pictured a scene from one of the trails at the Grampians National Park.
Chalk Circle founder Peter Voice said the space was “just an ugly wall” before it was transformed into a public display of art.
“The Grampians is a much loved part of the town, so we thought we would try that,” he said.
“It promotes local tourism, you can see it from many angles behind Lillies and Latte’s and it looks great.”
Mr Voice also said the 3D appearance of the mural was deliberate.
“If someone posed in the right position it looks like they are on the railing, ready to go for a walk,” he said.
It took Mr Voice up to 70 hours to complete the mural.
