As Kmart staff gathered for a 30-year reunion on Saturday, the Mail-Times asked people to share their memories of the store.
The responses overwhelmingly discussed Holly’s.
Simone Logan recalled the chicken toasted sandwiches with chips and hollandaise sauce, while Colleen Clark said: “There was nothing like going there after school and ordering a banana split and sharing with your bestie.”
“I wish we still had it,” wrote Wendy Grant.
