The show filmed an episode at the base of the giant mural in February
At the time, Brim Active Community Group president Shane Wardle said residents were impressed by the amount of gear the television crews brought in.
“They had everything, including the kitchen sink,” he said.
“They brought in trucks with five kitchens, pantries, make up artists and all the equipment.”
Mr Wardle said bystanders were not allowed to take pictures of the contestants.
“They’re halfway through filming the new season and reckon people would be able to tell who’d been kicked out of the competition,” he said.
The MasterChef crews set up a base of operations at the Brim Sports and Community Centre.
Mr Wardle said MasterChef’s production company reached out to Yarriambiack Shire and sent a few people to Brim to scout the location.
“Yarrimabiack Shire did well with supporting them,” he said.
The show will air at 7.30pm on Monday.
