Both Naracoorte and Border Districts will go into the game believing they can come away with the win.
Naracoorte is placed 10th on the competition ladder while Border Districts is 11th.
Border Districts coach Darrin Wilson said his side played better against first-placed Mundulla in round 11 and despite the 114-point loss, the players left the field with their heads held high.
“Our pressure was better. We made them really earn that scoreline,” he said.
“We have been leaking goals this year but last week was different. This is a game both sides can win.”
Border Districts have been hit with an injury crisis this season and many of the team’s seasoned senior footballers have been missing from the squad.
“This has given us a chance to get lads that aren’t necessarily senior footballers some senior experience,” Wilson said.
Harrison Pretlove has been developing his game and has filled several important roles while Rodney Oliver is making his mark.
In other matches, Borderton meets Kybybolite and Mundulla takes on Padthaway.
Kaniva-Leeor United, Keith, Kingston and Lucindale all have the bye.
