The Twenty20 blast sees primary schools within the Waves region compete with others in their area for the right to play off in finals later in the Summer.
Horsham Primary School won the boys cup at City Oval while SS Michael and John’s Primary School came out on top in the girls.
Donald’s boys came out on top in the first day of the cup held at Donald on Monday but it was the St Arnaud girls side which finished on top.
There was also an opportunity for bowlers to test their speed as the Waves searched for the fastest bowlers in the West.
At the Donald carnival Will Burke managed to send a delivery down at 86km/h while Taina Brooks was fastest for the girls with a 56km/h. Bowlers in Horsham topped those speeds with deliveries of 98km/h and 75km/h.
The carnivals will continue to run until early November with Warrnambool and Hamilton next on the list.
