The Parents, Teachers and Friends Association-organised event was on Friday.
Money raised from the fun run will be used to redevelop a playground and upgrade recreational equipment at the school.
Committee member Jodie Kemp said the day raised about $16000.
“It was fantastic and the kids had a wonderful time,” she said.
The fun run consisted of a series of obstacles the students had to navigate.
“They had to do a belly crawl, run through tyres, crawl through truck tyres, jump over hay hurdles, crawl under pool noodle hurdles, go through a waterfall and at the end were covered in colour,” Mrs Kemp said.
Mrs Kemp said rain the previous day made for a fun and muddy day for the students.
“I think the teachers had fun hosing off the kids afterwards, too,” she said.
“Parents came down to watch, too.”
Mrs Kemp said the students had a great time.
“Because it was wet the day before, all the kids got muddy then the mud came to colour,” she said.
