Half-centuries by Gary Davidson, Seb Dalgleish and Brad Sproule ensured the side had plenty of overs still up its sleeve when it reached its target of 223.
Davidson and Dalgleish got the side off on the right foot with a 123-run opening partnership. Dalgleish was eventually dismissed for 53, his first ever half-century, and Davidson was run out for 78 nine runs later.
Mark O’Beirne and Sproule continued where the opening combination had left off.
The Saints needed just 12 more runs to win when O’Beirne was trapped in front for 27 off the bowling of Dale Dridan.
Sproule worked his way to an unbeaten 52 as the side reached its target with 15 overs to spare.
After a delayed start on a damp Dudley Cornell wicket it only took eight overs for Colts to claim the final five wickets it needed to defeat Lubeck-Murtoa.
The Mudlarks started the second day on 5-36 off 16 overs in reply to the Colts score of 142.
The team’s lower order offered little resistance as it crumbled to be all out for just 39 off 24 overs.
Drew Carmody finished with figures of 4-0 off seven overs after starting the day with one wicket of two overs.
The result sees Colts jump to the top of the B Grade ladder after denting Lubeck-Murtoa’s percentage.
Horsam Saints sit in third positions while the Jung have yet to record an opening win for the season and are in last place.
