During the year it celebrated eight state representatives and two All Australian selections as well as having an official ranked second in the country and a team of national champions.
There was also a number of individuals who competed in state finals for swimming, athletics and cross country while boys netball, girls Football and volleyball teams competed at the state level.
“We are not just focused on one area,” Mr Dalgleish said. “Everybody gets an opportunity to participate and we try to ensure that wee have teams involved in everything so there is an opportunity for kids to progress further.
“It’s not anything in particular we do in PE classes, it’s just the general encouragement we offer whether its sporting pursuits or cultural pursuits.”
Mr Dalgleish emphasised that St Brigid’s was part of a wider Horsham community that seemed to breed success.
“That club support is obviously a big driving factor as well,” he said.
“And as with a lot of things the support of the community in Horsham is sensational.
“These achievement highlight that you can do great things from here in Horsham.”
