A federal government grant of $11,318 will go towards the $22,639 project, which will see two new light towers built at the netball courts.
The club will also use the extra money to change its light bulbs in the current light towers.
Former club netball president and current committee member Bridget Williams said the funding came at a good time for the club.
“Going into the new netball and football league we needed both netball courts under lights, so we were lucky enough to obtain a grant,” she said.
“Fundraising is quite hard so these grants are very important for us.”
Ms Williams said the club needed the grant to help ensure its netball players were safe while training.
“It’s a grant that we definitely needed,” she said.
“Safety was one of the major priorities. It will be good for our junior development and the safety of all of our participants.”
Ms Williams hopes the project will be completed in time for the start of the 2018 netball season.
“Hopefully by April next year we will have both courts under lights for full training,” she said.
Member for Mallee Andrew Broad hoped the grant would encourage more people to get involved with the club.
“Our sporting clubs are (important) to our regional towns so it is fantastic to see a project that will encourage more locals to get involved in sports and exercise,” he said.
“The community of Beulah will now have more opportunity to get involved in local activities and exercise.”
