The presentation was at the White Hart Hotel in Horsham, with a group of 10 students being honoured with their Certificate III in Individual Support – Ageing, Home and Community course.
Students who received the certificate included Tiffany Holliday, Megan Gray, Kylie Kelly, Shirley Treble, Tori Lehmann, Kerry Green, Kelsey Michaels, Sherri Lawrence, Samantha Smith and Brittany Adams.
Deb Hutchinson provided the training for the students. She also provided the facilities the students needed to complete the practical placement component of the course.
A majority of the students have now gained work in the Wimmera and surrounding areas.
Western District Employment Access Works enrolments have opened for its 2018 Individual Support – Ageing, Home and Community course.
The course starts in February. Western District Employment Access Works provides certified training to the community.
