The Horsham YMCA outside school hours care will host an open day full of fun activities on Monday

The event will be at the childcare’s new home at the Horsham Community Pavilion in Dimboola Road.

Horsham Aquatic Centre manager Sam Winter said the open day would highlight the activities and opportunities available to children.

She said there had been steady growth of the service and encouraged families to drop by and have a look at the new location.

“We are working towards growing the program after moving to the new site last month,” she said.

“The Horsham Rural City Council refitted the community pavilion and the new site gives children the benefit of spacious indoor and outdoor areas, which allows us to run more activities to keep them entertained.

“We believe our childcare service is the best and we are keen to show it off to the community.”

The open day will run from 4pm and 6pm and activities include games, crafts, a jumping castle and a barbecue.
