A LAST second-shot denied Warracknabeal’s Chloe Bibby and her Mississipi State University teammates from winning the division one National Collegiate Athletic Association women’s basketball title on Monday.

Early in the contest it looked like the Mississipi State Bulldogs was in the box seat as the side led Notre Dame 30-17 at half time.
Notre Dame flew back into the contest to level the scores with one period left.
The Bulldogs jumped back in front during the fourth quarter and had a 58-53 lead with less than a minute to play. Scores were tied before Arike Ogunbowale hit a three-point shot with one second on the clock to win the game 61-58 for Notre Dame.
