The event drew more than 250 people and is the club’s biggest event of the year.
A large range of poultry was on display and up for auction, from show birds to backyard pets.
There were plenty of bargains to be had, with prices for some birds starting as low as $1.
Mildura-based duck breeder Roger Hancock came to the auction with 10 cages filled with purebred birds.
“It gives people the opportunity to buy some of the best purebred poultry in the state,” he said.
“My ducks are show birds but they can also make great pets.”
People traveled from as far as South Australia and NSW to attend the event.
