Both have been involved with the club for an extensive period of time.
Ladlow joined the club’s committee in 2005 and said she has enjoyed assisting the club.
“I’ve been involved for a very long time,” she said.
“My children – Ben, Jessica, Georgia – played junior tennis there and when they started playing seniors I started playing as well.
“I’ve been on the committee for many years. Being involved on the committee has been really good. You know what is going on and you are helping out the club.”
She said she was surprised to receive the membership.
“I was very humbled,” she said.
“I thought one of the other men would have received it. I should have realised it would be me because both of my daughters came home.”
Both Ladlow and Tickner played in Central Park’s A Grade grand final win in the Central Wimmera Tennis Association during the 2017/18 season.
“It’s a great club and a good family and social club,” Ladlow said.
“This year has probably been the best year we’ve had since I’ve been here, and not just because we won the A Grade grand final.”
Tickner said after 20 years at the club, he is still enjoying his tennis.
“I still really enjoy playing and we do a lot of social events and all catch up a lot together,” he said.
“Helen and I have been playing tennis together for a long period of time.”
Tickner has filled many roles at the club, including being treasurer for seven years.
“I’ve been involved not far off 20 years with the club,” he said.
“I’ve just been assisting where I can and playing with Central Park, helping out with repairing and maintenance.”
