Injured coach Robbie Miller said there was a good feeling at the club, despite him breaking his leg in the round one loss to Kalkee.
“The training has been great and we have really been working hard,” he said.
“You can see huge improvement and there is still a great buzz and numbers at training. We are still confident and I’m not the whole team.”
Miller, who will be coaching from the sidelines until he recovers from a broken leg, said he was optimistic his side could cause an upset against the in-form Storm.
“Obviously they will be at the pointy end of the field and we will go out there and give it our all,” he said.
“We took a bit out of the Kalkee game even though we had a loss. We have been working on what we lacked against Kalkee and we have been training hard. Hopefully we can see that improvement and the training pays off.”
Meanwhile, Jeparit-Rainbow has a few injury concerns, with Tom and Ash Clugston and John Cozens all carrying injuries.
Coach Tim Inkster said his side should be getting fitter each week.
“We should be getting a bit fitter and some sort of match fitness behind us – we are still waiting on the fitness of some others,” he said.
“It’s an unknown opposition again and we are just worrying about what we are doing. We need a few more blokes to put in four quarters. It will be an interesting game.”
