It is the 10th anniversary of the Goroke Spectacular and Wanda Jackson said this year the event would raise money for the Goroke Town Hall.
“I just want to raise as much money as I can,” she said. “The hall needs some simple upgrades.”
Ms Jackson said the show would be similar to a Las Vegas spectacular with singing, comedy and dance all featuring throughout the night.
Ms Jackson said people from across Australia would attend the spectacular.
Guest performers include Terry Tinsel of Melbourne and Pocket Sized Patsy of Horsham.
“Pocket Sized Patsy is about one foot tall and is one of the best performers I have ever seen,” Ms Jackson said.
Ms Jackson is 64 and in her younger years she was a member of the group Les Girls who performed across Australia and New Zealand.
“I started performing when I was 17,” she said.
“When I got older I thought I would move out to the Little Desert and start setting up for older life.
“I was going to retire but people from all over Australia found out I moved out here and asked if I could throw a show. That is how the Goroke Spectacular started.”
Ms Jackson said the spectacular raised money for something within the Goroke community each year.
She said tickets cost $30 and people could bring their own food and drinks; tickets are available from Ms Jackson on 0413 418 297.
Doors open at 7pm.
