Led by Gerard Matthews and Heath MacInnes who both kicked three goals, the Demons kicked 10 first half goals in a solid attacking display. Laharum won 18.18 (126) to 2.4 (16).
Pimpinio managed two goals for the game, both coming in the opening term.
Tigers coach Nathan Sachse said despite the scoreboard, he was pleased with his young side’s efforts.
“The scoreboard didn’t really reflect how well we played,” he said.
“We probably played our best game of the year. We just ran out of legs again, which has been our issue this season. We don’t see games through. It’s a fitness issue and we have addressed it.
“We are well aware of where we are, but today the boys really tried and dug deep. The boys did really well. People will see a big win to Laharum, but I didn’t see it that way overall.”
Despite heavy losses in each game this season, Sachse said he has seen plenty of improvement within his Pimpinio squad.
“There has been improvement every week,” he said.
“Our fitness is improving and we are absorbing a lot more match practice. It is only going to get better for us and everyone has been really positive.”
Liam Jakobi and Dylan Arnott led the way for Pimpinio, while Cameron Streeter, Cooper Henson and Angus Martin were best on ground for Laharum.
