Edenhope-Apsley will host Noradjuha-Quantong at Edenhope in what could set the tone for both sides’ seasons.
The Saints are coming off back-to-back wins against the highly fancied Natimuk United and Swifts after starting the season with two losses.
Coach Chris Oliver said teams should be wary and not underestimate his side.
“I think Natimuk United underestimated us but the Swifts were prepared for us last week,” he said.
“I think all teams will now know they need to compete against us.”
Oliver said his side’s turn around in form was due to the side learning how to play football together.
“I think at the start of the year we had a fairly new team and a lot of blokes playing in new positions,” he said.
“Once we worked each other out the game plan has just gone on from there. The feeling is really good. We don’t want to get too far ahead of ourselves. We are playing some good footy and hitting some good form but we still have things we need to fine tune a bit.”
Oliver said it would be a good test against the Bombers and an important game to win for the finals frame.
“We are looking forward to it and it should be a good test,” he said.
“It looks like they have improved a fair bit on last year and they have a few of the old heads back so it is going to be interesting to see what they come out with.
“If we really want to contend with finals this year these are the games we need to be winning.”
