“We have an eye on these next six weeks because we will be coming up against some teams who are in and around us on the ladder,” he said.
“If we are any chance to make finals this season we need to win more than we lose in this next patch. We want to be a bit more consistent now compared to our first six weeks.”
The Bombers face the struggling Taylors Lake on Saturday and should be boosted by the inclusion of Austin Smith.
“We should get Austin Smith back from injury and he would be a handy inclusion,” Hose said.
“We still won’t have Jordan Huff back up forward, he has a foot injury, and Jason Kerr will be unavailable. Our team won’t be changing too drastically from before the bye.”
Hose said he was expecting a challenge against the Lakers away from home.
“I think it will be a hard fought out game,” he said.
“We will need to be playing at the level we have been playing the last few games to ensure we get the win.”
Noradjuha-Quantong has been playing some solid football so far this season and sits one game out of the early finals frame.
Hose said lapses in concentration had hurt his side’s chances of claiming some more wins.
“Our ball movement and skill errors have hurt us in patches,” he said. “We haven’t been able to consistently put scoring pressure on opposition teams – hopefully we can do that this weekend.”
