I’M thinking of inviting Harry and Meghan to stay here when they come to Australia in the next few months. We’ve got quite a lovely spot, and I’m sure they’d adore waking up to kookaburras and fairy wrens.

Royal visitors would definitely see a few changes around here, though.
The girls would absolutely have to start helping with the dishes.
And I won’t be able to throw three loads of clean washing onto the dining room table in the hope of someone helping me sort it. It’s never worked anyway.
No doubt I’d ensure my morning make-over happened before I bumped into Meghan over museli.
I imagine she wakes up as pretty as a picture, while I look like I’ve been in a very serious accident.
After finishing off a few odd jobs, Kym would have to converse with Harry rather than fall asleep on the couch clutching the remote.
With 20 years in the military – including many years making Orion aircraft and F1-11 jets fly – Kym and the Duke would have plenty to talk about.
Meghan and I both have our acting careers to catch up on.
It’s true, I was only an extra on most things.
But I did have those lines in a few training videos.
With the wedding behind her, Harry’s bride might be a little more inclined to indulge in a slice of cake.
So, I could break out my Royal Albert bone China for lovely long cup of tea … or coffee, your choice Meghan.
Katianna would have to come down from her room and talk mental health with Meghan – her psychology studies would come in handy there.
Yasinta could organise a family concert, she’s good at making posters and programs.
But Tiani would have to stop her incessant handstands and backflips or she might knock out someone’s teeth in the audience. I’d hate to maim a royal guest.
Buster would definitely need a bath and my girls would have to cease growing out of things for a few days so I could concentrate on a fabulous menu.
Harry and Meghan might not be as hot on Mexican as us, and it can get a little messy.
Of course, their stay may never be a reality.
But what a lovely dream.
