Now in its 23rd year, the festival will showcase a large range of events across 10 days, including performances, exhibitions, panel discussions and markets.
Festival general manager Sarah Natali said organisers couldn’t wait to see the Wimmera community get involved.
“Everyone is very excited and we have been working hard to make it all happen,” she said.
“The festival is great because it brings everyone together in a celebration of art, music, food and culture.
“With the number of events that are happening, it’s like we get the chance to live in Melbourne for 10 days.
“The reason the event has lasted 23 years is because of the support of the community who always get so involved.”
The theme for this year’s festival is ‘Art Is… a Footprint’, which encourages festival patrons to make their own mark.
Ms Natali said there were a number of highlights on this year’s program.

It will all kick off on Friday night with the Inaugural Annual Dance Affair at the Horsham Town Hall.
On both Friday and Saturday nights, Wimmera residents will be encouraged to take to the dancefloor and become performers for the evening.
“There are so many community members involved and we just heard the news that an 84-year-old lady will be performing which is fantastic,” she said.
At the Amazing Picture Taking Race on Sunday June 3, people will be led on a scavenger hunt around the town, taking photos along the way.
Children will be occupied and entertained when the Horsham Regional Art Gallery hosts Art Play Sunday on June 3, which will include an interactive performance by the Super Circus Squad.
