Giants coach Coleman Schache said his side needed to put in an improved effort in order to bounce back on Saturday.
“It was a bit of a disappointing effort by the team against the Saints,” he said. “They really outspread us and outworked us all day so we’ve really focused on being prepared to bring a better effort against Dimboola.”
He said his side would likely come into the match relatively unchanged and that it would be up to everyone to lift their energy.
“Tyler Lehmann and Reece McNally have really led the way in effort over the past couple of weeks but everyone needs to stand up,” he said.
Dimboola comes into the match on the back of its smallest loss of the season but remain desperate to snatch a breakthrough victory.
