A member of the Under 17s team, John has played all of his junior football with the Noradjuha Quantong Football Netball Club.
While this is his first season in this age group, John has already established a very strong reputation as a terrific leader, team player and a very skilful and courageous player.
He is highly regarded by his coach, his teammates and by all at the club as a respectful, honest, and positive young man.
John plays in numerous positions but his most effective role is linking the backline and forward line - coming off a half-back flank or wing.
The worthy recipient of the HDFNL’s Spirit of Netball Award is Jeparit Rainbow’s Mikayla Keller.
Mikayla enjoys playing for the Jeparit Rainbow Under 17s netball team and also lines up for B grade most, if not every, Saturday. Mikayla continues to learn from her peers. Her enthusiasm for the game and encouragement of her teammates is first class.
Mikayla is the type of teenager every club needs, as she is always willing to put her hand up for any job. She also umpires some of the junior netball games.
