Plenty of water has gone under the bridge since first clash in what is likely to become a burgeoning rivalry between the Henty Highway neighbours.
Warrack Eagles coach Ryan McKenzie said it was another must win match for his side.
“When we played them in round one it was a pretty ordinary day and we didn’t play good football,” he said.
“We’ll be looking to be cleaner with the ball in order to move it efficiently from one end to the other.”
After fluctuating early season form McKenzie, Nick Peters and Shannon Argall have led the side well in recent wins against the Horsham Saints and Dimboola.
“Travis Lawson has surprised us a little with how well he’s been going in the ruck,” McKenzie said.
“That’s really freed Shannon up to go forward.”
McKenzie is hopeful that Charlie Wilson and Jeremy Clayton will be available with at least one change set to be forced because of the injury to Liam Stewart.
Giants coach Coleman Schache said he expected it to be tough match.
“They’ve knocked off two teams that we weren’t able to get a hold of,” he said. “We’re going to have to be really on top of our game through the midfield. It will be about continuing to play a high pressure brand of football.”
Tyler Lehmann is a chance to return to the side while Riley Cook will also face a fitness test.
