Police were called to a Francis Street property about 9pm after reports a shot had been fired during a dispute between two men, who were known to each other.
A Yanac man, 63, was arrested at the scene.
He has been charged with two counts of reckless conduct endangering life, two counts of reckless conduct endangering serious injury, making threats to kill and other firearm-related offences.
The man has been remanded to reappear at Horsham Magistrates’ Court on September 19.
A Nhill man, 22, who was also at the scene, was not injured.
