Both teams are on 24 points alongside the Bombers, half a game outside of the top six.
The winner will stay in the finals hunt, while the loser will find it tough to break into the finals.
Laharum has had some indifferent form recently with injuries hurting the side’s chances. The Panthers have had a late-season revival, with its home form being strong. The test for the side will be translating that away from home.
Laharum coach Robbie Miller said his side would be boosted by some inclusions.
“We have three guys from Darwin coming in as well as Daniel Easson,” he said.
“Rupanyup is in the same boat as us and both teams will be doing as much as possible to keep those slim finals chances alive. That will add a bit more depth, stability and senior experience to our side.
“We know the situation we are in and we just need to keep winning games.”
Rupanyup coach Jack Musgrove said his side was starting to find its groove.
“It’s a mini final for us and we have won games recently because of the motivation and drive we have to play finals,” he said.
“The side will look pretty similar to last week. We haven’t had too many injuries lately so we are looking okay. Now we are stringing a few games together with the guys back from injury and they are re-gaining fitness. You can’t click over night but we are getting there.”
