The Dimboola Human Power Vehicle Expo has attracted 13 teams who are bringing 23 HPVs to the Dimboola Recreation Reserve.
The 13 teams will partake in a six hour demonstration race, which starts at 10am.
A DJ and live band will be entertaining crowds from 2pm until 6.30pm and food and drinks will be available throughout the day.
Hindmarsh Shire mayor Ron Ismay said the expo has gained widespread support from teams coming from across Victoria and South Australia.
He said the event has significantly grown since last year and has offered new opportunities for the town.
“Dimboola has been fortunate to secure the only event of this type in the west of Victoria,” he said.
“This event has the potential to grow the sport and inspire more local schools and communities to become involved.”
Cr Ismay said spectator entry was free with car parking access via Park Street.
