Davis Park’s grandstand was deemed unsafe for patrons on the eve of Nhill’s first home Wimmera Football League game of the 2018 season against Warrack Eagles.
Hindmarsh Shire confirmed in May that the structure would have to remain closed due to structural concerns.
Ms Kealy said the money would go towards modernisation works for the pavilion and clubrooms.
“This refurbishment will breathe new life into this multi-use community asset,” she said.
