Ararat police have arrested two people they allege were in possession of drugs.

Inspector Ian Geddes said a search warrant was executed at an address in Ararat on Monday. He said “large amounts” of methamphetamine, heroin and cash were seized.
He said police arrested an Ararat man, 40, and an Ararat woman, 41, and charged them with numerous drug offences.
The man and woman were due to face the Horsham Magistrates’ Court late Tuesday.
