The Tigers have been the more competitive side of the two cellar dwellers to this point of the season.
The side has been well placed to cause upsets at different stages during the year and got the better of the Roos in the corresponding round seven fixture.
Nhill coach Tim Bone described his team’s round 15 performance against the Horsham Demons as one of its best of the season despite losing by 44 points. He is hopeful his side will be able to continue its improved effort into the encounter.
“It’s a bit a of a mini grand final for both sides,” he said.
“We want to take that form into Saturday and that is the challenge that awaits us.”
Dimboola will need to find a way to score if it is to win having only put more than 40 points on the board once this season.
