The hard-working midfielder returned to lead the club in 2016 and has been at the helm ever since.
Club president Adrian Bibby said it was exciting to re-sign McKenzie and assistant coach Shannon Argall.
“To have that continuity is great,” he said.
“They both have been able to set something up now and really want to follow it through.”
Argall signed as McKenzie’s assistant ahead of the 2017 Wimmera league season and has helped shape the group during his two seasons.
“When we fell away a little during the middle stages of this season these two didn’t back off at all,” he said.
“They have been great all the way through.
“We know what we get with these guys – they are great leaders and there was no hesitation in re-signing them.”
Bibby hoped locking in the coaches would help the side continue to build.
“Ryan knows all the players very well now and all of the group knows what to expect,” he said.
“Anyone that we go out and try to recruit will also know the way we play and the way he wants us to play.
“He’s become such a great teacher for the younger players at our club.”
