The state government approved $2.3 million for Kaniva College and a further $600,000 for Dimboola Memorial Secondary College in April this year. They were among six schools in western Victoria to receive money in the 2018-19 state budget.
Member for Western Victoria Jaala Pulford said the upgrades would ensure that the school’s educational facilities kept pace with changing technology.
She said Melbourne-based A:1 Architects were appointed to design the upgrade.
“Both Kaniva College and Dimboola Memorial Secondary College has fantastic staff and students and we are making sure they have state of the art facilities to match,” she said.
