Hindmarsh Shire Council has awarded the Nhill Skate Park construction contract to Trinity Skate Parks.
Hindmarsh Shire mayor Ron Ismay said the council was happy with the group’s previous work, and looked forward to seeing what they could produce at Jaypex Park in Nhill.
“If we have the same guys as last time it would be great. The guy who was leading the projects was a hard worker and a really nice bloke, who is very good at what he does,” he said.
“Our parks weren’t just a job to him – he really took pride in what he did, and we were pretty happy with that.”

In March, the council received confirmation the state government had approved a $100,000 grant for the project.
The concrete park will be suitable for beginners and experienced skaters, with a different design to the other parks in the shire.
The council identified Jaypex Park as the most suitable location for the skate park after community consultations last year.
The Rainbow and Dimboola parks were completed this year.
