Jake Lloyd's status as a Sydney Swans superstar has been reinforced with the classy defender winning the AFL club's Bob Skilton Medal.

Lloyd, who recently signed a four- year contract extension, was an ever present for the Swans in 2018 and was crowned as the team's champion player on Friday.
He averaged a team leading 27.8 disposals a game and his accurate distribution out of the backline was a key component of the Swans' gameplan.
This season saw Lloyd became the fastest Swans player to play 100 games for the club and the 24-year-old has missed just three matches in 118 since making his debut in 2014.
Lloyd, who finished joint second with Lance Franklin in last year's count polled 540 votes to beat 2017 winner Luke Parker (517) and Franklin (510).
The players' player ward went to All-Australian captain Franklin, who passed 900 goals and finished the Swans' leading goal-kicker for the fifth time in as many season.
Ruckman Callum Sinclair was named most improved player and emerging midfielder Oliver Florent the club's rising star .
The Swans also announced on Friday they were committed to restoring and preserving Sydney's Royal Hall of Industries building, which will house the Sydney Swans HQ and Community Centre.
The centre will be home to the Swans and Super Netball team NSW Swifts and provide the necessary capacity and infrastructure to enable the club to establish a women's team in future years.
