Students who have studied English begin their three-hour exam at 9am.
Horsham College captain Harley Dickerson is one student taking the English exam. Harley said he felt prepared for his upcoming exams. He is studying for six exams over the four week final exam period.
“The school organised practice exams last holidays, so we are feeling quite prepared,” he said. “Right now we are just preparing with more practice exams and extra studying, but it was important not to leave it to the last minute.”
Harley has his sight set on a law and psychology at Monash University next year.
Horsham College student Lucy Hobbs also has aspirations to study law at Monash University. She said the exam period can be stressful, but she was staying focused.
“We’re all excited for the exams to be over, but it also sad because we have to say goodbye to the friends we have made,” she said.
