The Nationals have made a pledge to contribute $672,500 towards a new Community Complex at the Balmoral Recreation Reserve if elected at this month’s state election.
Ms Kealy said $472,500 would go towards the overall building cost, with the remaining $200,000 dedicated to the fit out of a new kitchen.
“Current infrastructure at the Balmoral Recreation Reserve is white-ant ridden and some areas are unsafe for public use,” she said.
“The Balmoral Recreation Reserve Committee and local residents have done a fabulous job in raising over $370,000 towards this community project, so it’s fantastic to be announcing this support from a Liberal Nationals Government.
“The new complex will be a fantastic multi-use community asset that will serve as a meeting place for the Balmoral community and our region for generations to come.”
