President of the club Nigel Binney said athletes came from across western Victoria to compete.
“It was an outstanding day with perfect weather and we had 117 athletes from as far as Portland and Ballarat and other centres come to compete,” he said.
Thomas Naylor, who competes with the Horsham centre, took out the under-12 to under-16 mixed age gift.
Maryborough’s Naomi Henderson won the under-6 to under-16 mixed gift.
“We had two excellently contested gift races to finish the day,” Mr Binney said.
“It was a good reward for all of the effort Thomas has put in, and he has been a member of the club for a long time.”
Mr Binney said the committee did a great job with the effort paying dividends in seeing the enjoyment on the children's faces.
“It was fantastic for the younger ones and they were absolutely thrilled to get medals and it’s the only event on our calendar where we do that,” he said.
“Parents and grandparents enjoyed the day and I think the committee and volunteers did a fantastic job, and their help was very much appreciated.
