The under-14s, featuring Horsham Cricket Association’s Connor Weidemann and Jett Hopper and Wimmera-Mallee Cricket Association’s Aaron Schofield, came away with a win against Mallee.
The teams played at Sunnyside with the Waves batting first setting a target of 204.
Weidemann made 13 runs, Schofield 5 runs and Hopper was bowled out for a second-ball duck.
Mallee showed little resistance with the bat and was bowled out for 69 runs.
Horsham Cricket Association’s Will Drummond is also in the under-14s Waves squad, but is sitting on the sidelines with an injured shoulder.
The under-16 Waves came away with a win against Mallee at Horsham’s City Oval. Mallee batted first making 157 runs before being bowled out.
The Waves reached the total with ease, winning by seven wickets.
