Early voting centres opened up across the state at 9am on Monday morning, with 75,456 Victorians making the call to vote early.
Centres in Horsham and Stawell proved popular, with 716 and 484 early votes submitted in the Lowan and Ripon electorates respectively.
In Stawell, Labor’s Ripon candidate Sarah De Santis was busy handing out how to vote cards on the first day of pre-polling.
Community members of the Ripon electorate will be able to vote at 8-12 Scotland Place, Stawell while people in Lowan can vote at 45 Wilson Street, Horsham.
“If you will be overseas, or have a prior engagement, or simply prefer to vote early, you can,” electoral commissioner Warwick Gately said.
103 early voting centres are open for voters who prefer to vote before Saturday 24 November throughout the state.
