New netball director Debbie Bach will lead the netball division as she also returns to the club’s executive committee as vice-president.
Bach said it was a great feeling to have coaches set in place to begin the new year.
“We welcome Tracey Dark and Toni Stewart as joint A Grade coaches next season,” she said.
“Between them, there is a lot of experience. They’ve played a lot of netball over the years and have a great knowledge of the sport.
“They are both well-respected members of the club and the wider Wimmera area.”
Bach said the appointment was a step in the right direction – particularly considering the club’s focus on juniors.
“Both coaches have worked with juniors in the past in the club over the years. This is will a focus not only just for the A Grade coaches but netball side of the club as a whole,” she said.
Between them there is a lot of experience.

All coaching positions for each grade have been filled.
Madi Freeland will take the lead for B Grade as joint coaches Lynne Jenkinson and Kaye Ellis will look after C Grade.
The 17 and under team will be mentored under Christine Graveson, while Jade Cross and Lisa Fleming will join forces to lead the 15 and under players.
Kerri Taylor is coach of the 13 and under team.
Bach said the junior division of Mods will be confirmed in the New Year.
“We are just waiting to see what numbers we will have. We usually have a good group of kids coming through,” she said.
“Our junior coaches will put their heads together and work out the best solution and how to manage the mods going forward.”
“It’s very important to keep the development going.
“We will also be running the Net Set Go program next season.”
Bach said the Warriors focus for the upcoming season was “inclusion”.
“We are looking to get people involved. We are looking forward to a really good year,” she said.
Bach will be supported in 2019 with additional announcement of members on the Warriors’ netball sub-committee.
The committee will include Colene Matthews, Christine Graveson, Leonie McGuckian and Toni Stewart.
