It comes after Uber announced in October that Horsham was one of the 15 new cities across regional Australia to receive its service.
Uber is a ride-sharing service that is considered an alternative transport option to taxis.

An Uber spokeswoman said the service was likely to arrive in the city by January. However, an official launch date in the new year has not been decided.
A Wimmera Mail-Times poll in October showed that nearly 85 per cent of voters said yes to using Uber when it arrives while the rest said no.
