The daughter of Dyna Double One has been knocking on the door for several weeks with six placings from her last seven starts and on paper, looked one of the best of the day.
She didn’t disappoint the favourite backer either, leading all the way for a comfortable four-length victory at $2.20 on the TAB.
Gurry would be hoping Dyna Nelly can go on with the job after the confidence-building win, and with plenty of race meetings over the Christmas/New Year period she should find the right opportunities.

Thursday the club holds an additional meeting before Christmas and on a restricted ten-race card local trainers dominate the numbers in the early races.
Later in the day, and despite only six runners, race 9 appears one of the better races on the card with some quality sprinters lining up over the 410m, including Sideshow Marjen and up and comer Icarus, who has won six of 10 so far.
Best of the day may come in race 6 when Apex Within comes back in distance to the 485m in a race where he appears to be very well graded, and box 7 should hold no fears for the Rod Clark-trained greyhound.
