People travelled from across the state to the Johnny Mullagh Caravan and Camping Ground for it the event’s 21st year.
Committee treasurer Paul Penrose said numbers were looking positive.
“We’re hoping for 700 people and it’s looking like we’ll get there,” he said.
In the lead-up to last year’s event, the organising committee called on people to attend, warning that it might not go ahead in the future if they didn't get support.
Mr Penrose said the ball was now in much better shape.
“This is a big turnaround from last year. Last year’s numbers were a bit slack, so we’re hoping for a big crowd,” he said.
Musical acts Jade Gibson and the Iain Archibald Band will perform on Saturday night, while the band No Mistake will perform on Sunday.
“We’re hoping for no trouble this year – in all regards,” he said.
The event helps raise money for local community groups and organisations, such as the Harrow Bush Nursing Centre, Harrow Hall and Edenhope Hospital.
Attendee Horsham’s Emily Wilkie said this year’s event was her first BnS Ball.
“My friend Tayla Winfield convinced me and a few others come along,” she said.
Stawell resident Claire Hodgetts has attended the Harrow BnS Ball for a number of years.
“I always have fun here, so it’s great to come back each year and support the event,” she said.
